Our Providers

Christopher Warholic, MD, MS

Dr. Warholic MD, MS is the founder of Pueo Telehealth and Wellness Medicine and is excited to bring this practice to the People of Hawaii.  Dr. Warholic, MD, MS, is a board-certified family physician and an active American Board of Family Medicine member. Having attended the University of Hawaii Manoa Campus he went on to work at Duke University Medical Center and the University of Kansas in the environmental field.  He has a diverse range of experiences and skills including volunteering for the underserved in the inner city, working in rural areas, conducting HIV/AIDS research in Cameroon, practicing as an ER physician, and even helping to start a full-service clinic in Kapkamich, Kenya.

Melaina Salmon, PA-C

Melaina Salmon, PA-C, is excited to partner with patients in their journey toward optimal health. As a certified Physician Assistant at Pueo Telehealth, a leading telehealth practice based in Mountain View, Hawaii, Melaina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to help her patients achieve their wellness goals.

Melaina completed her undergraduate studies and earned her Master's from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has gained valuable clinical experience through rotations in various healthcare settings, including internal medicine, women's health, emergency medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, dermatology, general surgery, family medicine, and more. This diverse background equips Melaina with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare needs.

Before joining Pueo Telehealth, Melaina served as a Medical Office Assistant and Phlebotomist. In this role, she performed blood draws, administered infusions, monitored vital signs, and played a pivotal role in patient education. Additionally, she has experience as a Dental Assistant, ensuring patient comfort and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

Melaina is an active member of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants. This commitment to staying connected with the latest advancements in healthcare underscores her dedication to providing the best possible care to patients.
